Workplace Investigation Training: Module I June* 4th, 2013 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM This advanced program, along with the Module II Practicum, is designed to cross train in-house counsel and to enhance the skills of Risk Management and HR professionals for conducting investigations into bullying, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Modules I and II are offered consecutively in June 2013. Module I is day-long seminar that provides a detailed overview of how properly to investigate concerns or allegations of personnel misconduct in a thorough, fair, and well-documented manner that contemplates potential litigation. Workplace Investigations Training: Module II Practicum June 5-6, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. The Module II Practicum on Workplace Investigations provides attendees with an experiential learning opportunity to apply the principles from Module I in an environment where typical investigation challenges are presented and instant feedback is provided from experienced Labor and Employment litigators. Agenda for Module II can be found here. Module II involves four 1-hour conference calls leading up to the two-day practicum sessions. Attendees will interview witnesses, present a verbal and written report, and undergo a mock deposition. Attendees will receive a written materials and receive instructional training followed by immediate opportunities for application through individual and group work.
